AIOU LMS Stands for Allama Iqbal Open University Learning Management System. It is an online CMS that helps students learn and study using their computers or smartphones. It’s like a virtual classroom where you can login and access your course materials, watch videos, take quizzes, and interact with your teachers and classmates. It makes learning easier and more convenient because you can do it from anywhere with an internet connection. So, whether you’re at home, in a cafe, or even on the bus, you can keep up with your studies through AIOU Aaghi LMS.

How to Login AIOU Aaghi LMS Portal?

How to Create Account on AIOU LMS?

Creating an account on AIOU Aaghi LMS Portal is a bit different. Here’s how it works:

Who Can Create an Account ?

Not everyone can make an account on Aaghi LMS. Only students and tutors of Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) can do this.

How Accounts are Created?

When you become a student at AIOU, the university itself makes an account for you on Aaghi LMS. They’ll generate a special ID for you, called an LMS ID. After that, they’ll send you your username and password through email and SMS to the phone number you provided when registering.

New Students:

So, if you’re a new student at AIOU, you won’t need to create your own account on Aaghi LMS. The university takes care of it for you. All you have to do is wait for them to send you your login details. Keep an eye on your email and phone for this message.

How to Change the Aaghi LMS Portal Password?

Allama Iqbal Open University makes a special ID for students on the Aaghi LMS Portal and sets the password using the student’s roll number. But if you want, you can change your password. Here’s how you can do it to keep your information safe:

1) Visit Aaghi LMS Portal

First, open your web browser and go to the Aaghi LMS Portal. You can do this by typing in the web address provided by your university.

Create the Assignment

The first step is to create the assignments. Students must follow the guidelines of Allama Iqbal Open University to create the assignments. Copied assignments are acceptable according to the AIOU rule.

Ready the submission files

The next step is to make your assignments files . Make sure to give a proper name to assignment files. The file name should be the Student’s name, roll number, subject code, and assignment number. Assignments file must be in PDF format. Here is an example:

Login to Aaghi LMS portal

After the preparation of assignments, the next step is to log in to your Aaghi LMS Portal.

Select your course

After logging in to your Aaghi LMS Portal, students need to select the enrolled course that they want to submit. Click on the My Courses button, then you find the course that you are enrolled in. Select the course.

Select the Assignment

After selecting your program, you need to select the assignment number you are submitting. If you are submitting your first assignment then select ‘Assignment # 1’ and so on.

Assignment Status and details

After selecting your assignment number, the next shows you the current status. This page also shows you the due date of the assignment submission. If the student already submits their assignment then this page shows them the assignment grades.

Add Submission

Click the ‘Add Submission button shown at the bottom of the assignment details page. A new page will show to submit assignments. If you are on PC, you can simply drag and drop the assignment pdf file on the drop area or select the browse button to select your file. If you are using a mobile device, you need to click the upload button and then browse files on your mobile storage. Select your assignment file and click ‘OK’.

Upload the Assignment file and Save the Submission

To upload the assignment file click on the ‘Upload this File’ button. Your file was uploaded to the Portal but was not saved by the system. You just need to click the ‘Save Changes’ button to save your assignments.

Edit Submitted Assignments

After successfully submitting assignments to Allama Iqbal Open University’s Aaghi Learning Management System, students can also change or resubmit their assignments before the due date.

AIOU Assignment Marks Now Available on LMS

The Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has launched a new feature that will allow students to view their assignment marks directly on the LMS portal of AIOU.

B.A Assignments Marks Punching on LMS

AIOU has started giving students their assignments marks by 2022. The students will now be able to track their assignment marks through an interface in AIOU LMS 2022.

Enter your username and password

Once you log in to your Allama Iqbal Open University account, you can get your marks.

The marks will be categorized into one of three options – pending, graded, or assigned.

In all cases, you should see a list of assignments for that class and each will show your performance with respect to it.

An email was sent out about how to check AIOU assignment marks by using the LMS portal login AIOU methodically in every user account.

What if you have an issue with your LMS

Log on to your account and click on My Assignments in the top-right corner of your LMS page. In there, you will find an option to enter assignment marks. Enter your assignment’s code and select its department.

Follow with entering its name and submitting it.

Your marks will be updated as soon as possible. Keep in mind that an assignment must have been submitted before you can enter its marks on the LMS portal.

Students will now be able to view their respective assignments’ marks in the LMS portal.

Students can check how many marks they have obtained out of 100 in each assignment.

This feature has been rolled out for a few courses and will be available for all courses by mid-April 2018.

How to upload assignments marks on LMS

1. Allama Iqbal Open University  ASSIGNMENTS :-

First and foremost Assignments are an essential part of the students. Because this plays a very important role.  Moreove r , you can’t clear your semester without assignments. Most Importantly send your assignments on time. However, you can not pass exams without assignments. In other words, your attendance in exams is wasteless.

2. Assignments Recommendation:-

You will be considered to fail without submitting your assignment. In other words, even if you get 95% marks in the examination you will be considered as fail. If you clear your assignments, you have the chance to appear in the examination. Therefore you can have 3 attempts to appear.

Following are the passing marks for each assignment

• 1st Assignment must have at least 50% marks.
• 2nd Assignment must have at least 50% marks.
• 3rd Assignment must have at least 50% marks.
• 4th Assignment must have at least 50% marks.

In contrast, subjects having 2 assignments follow the same percentage.

Updated Reappear Policy 2023 Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) has released an updated policy regarding reappear exams called Final Exam Reappear (FER). They've made some changes to the previous policy from autumn 2021 to make things easier for students: Before applying for a reappear, students must have less than 40 marks in the course i.e. < 40 marks in Final exam and all the other components like assignments etc passed To pass, students still need to score 50% in each component as well as in final exam and even in aggregate. (depends on program passing criteria). If a student scores less than 40, they must register for a reappear within announced dates available within students 'My grades'  option in CMS. For reappear registration (when announced) they have to use their CMS portal -> Course Registration link from the link:  https://enrollment.aiou.edu.pk/ If student after availing the FER1 get the passing marks in the course the students will be passed. And if he/she again score <40 marks in final exam they'll get FER2. Now third chance in FER is available; however if students availed their both chances and still got failed, then he/she need to register his course as fresh. After registering, they won't need to prepare new assignments or attend workshops however. This policy change aims to benefit students. If a student fails twice, they'll need to register for the course again and complete assignments and workshops if required. For certain phases like 10th grade, F.A., and B.A., there are no workshops. Assignments for these phases are done on paper and sent to tutors via mail. If the first assignment isn't sent on time, both assignments can be sent together before the final submission date.
