I've posted on here in the past and thought I'd add another post as I managed to get my money back from these con artists I contacted Trading Standards and Citizens Advice and this so called company is well known to them I left it in there hands and after around 5 weeks I got a full refund Do not enter into any contract with these scammers but if you already have then contact Trading Standards

Unprofessional on a whole new level!

Our experience at the start when they were wishing to make a sale was all about communication. We were left with a product that was not fit for purpose although followed every guideline. Finally promised a partial refund due to the product clearly not fit for our purpose on a number of levels which did not support us in any shape or form. Months on we have no refund, nobody to speak to other than a customer advisor who can only pass information on to no formal response. Faceless, unprofessional and we may just of well burned our money on a firepit!

Date of experience : 06 February 2024

We have unfortunately had the same experience of everyone else on here, having not seen these reviews before signing up. It seems initially a good deal with access to the Tenders4U hub being more expensive than this, and my sister who is a teacher confirmed they do use this portal. However, following initial sales it was the same story. We received no leads, and despite having a signed contract that we would receive a full refund they have so far refused to give us one. Have sent numerous legal letters threatening action and they can't even be bothered to respond to these. Now taking them to the small claims court which I would recommend everyone to do. The two people we have dealt with are Laura Edwards and John Evans. Please note it also looks like the company have changed their name and are operating as Sky Blue Education now, presumably to scam even more people. Please, please stay clear of them!

Avoid This Money Grabbing Company

I was told by the education hub I was taking over from someone and there would be plenty of 'work' When no work appeard I was told 'the schools take time to pick up the phone' Then they sent me positions I was not qualified to do or were not in my region. The so called person in charge of customers left the company and the replacement ignores emails and uses the phone team to manufacture excuses

SCAM - please avoid!

SCAM - please avoid it! Spent over £900 to be an 'exclusive' service provider. This was a complete and utter lie. Not one single school has been in touch for 12 months since we went live. Clearly, the service they promised to deliver does not exist. Absolutely disgusting behavior.

Not worth the upfront cost - Avoid

My wife received a cold call from The Educational Hub with a too good to be true offer to sign up with them to provide counselling to teachers in the Cheshire East area. The alarm bells were ringing when they asked for an upfront admin fee of £495 + VAT. It doesn't take much research to learn that they'll just add you to a their database with little chance of a return on your upfront investment. We won't be taking them up on their offer.

I've been scammed by this Company The Educational Hub they are professional scammers ,they advertised on Bark.com says they have 2 ongoing contracts and first come first serve ,after paying £500 they just put my details on to their database and that's it no contact with schools or any kind of contract .I reported to Action Fraud Police and I will wait to see what will be next step .

Known scammers. Avoid.

*EDIT* And they're now asking me for "more information" via Trustpilot, including my full name, email address, and telephone number...I don't think so!! Currently spamming me via email and phone. Known scammers. They must think us counsellors are a bit stupid? Avoid like the plague!

Date of experience : 08 February 2022

100% SCAM - they will tell you that the bad reviews are ex staff members. Do not listen to this!! I am in charge of a small family engineering company in the south west and The educational hub said they would garantee us work in our area. Then once they take your money they WILL NOT give it back for getting you no work at all. Their own contract is actually legally null and void as it isnt upheld in law as they actually dont give you work at all it is just a basic robbing exercise for them.

Took out a package of postcode priority member and tender notifications. Tenders are very good and the help to complete these is beneficial as I have never done rendering before. Have sent a mail shot to the schools in my area through the company which has resulted in some interest by email from various schools, booked in next week to provide a quote. Was also offered other areas but looking for some return on initial area before taking further areas.

Alarm bells - the limited company not listed

I was approached by the sales team. Having declined the offer I checked out their privacy policy and terms on their website. None of the companies listed in those documents exist at Companies House. Alarm bells. I would definitely treat with care

Complete Scam

Complete scam. Phoned up, sold us a chance to be listed for tenders and given exclusive access to schools in our areas. Was asked to pay the upfront cost for a 15 month contract - was the biggest waste of money. No enquires, no contact and refused to refund. The company are really sketchy - no profile or staff on LinkedIn, tells you everything you need. AVOID these scammers.

Scammers....

This company has tried tried to scam both myself and my wife twice. They also trade under the names Ed First, School Supplies Service, tenders & contracts ltd and who knows what other names. Just google "the educational hub scam" for more details

I paid over £600 to advertise my counselling services in April 2022 for 12 months and to date have received not a single enquiry. When I contacted them to follow up, their response was to try to sell me advertising space in their physical directory. I received no response to my complaint email.

This company is a SCAM

This company is a SCAM. Avoid! We were cold called and offered a service at no cost to our business. The contract was sent over and the £500 fee detailed was questioned with the sales representative before signing. We were told it was a standard contract and to just ignore that section. We signed the contract and realised that the service they promised was not applicable to our business. We have tried on a number of occasions to contact the company via telephone and via email, all of which have been ignored. We have since received a legal letter from Education hub threatening us with court action if we don't pay even though they wont accept our call and are not providing any service at all. If you are approached by this company do yourselves a favour and hang up! 1 star is 1 star too many for this company

Date of experience : 14 June 2022

Please BE CAREFUL

This company misrepresented their services to me. The phone conversation made it sound like they were looking for an exclusive provider for mental health services. Yet instead I was being placed into a directory with many other providers. I was fortunate as Trading Standards stepped in and after 10 weeks I finally got a refund. If you engage with them, check everything thoroughly and don’t make any haste decisions until you know exactly what you’re getting. Had Trading Standards not intervened I would have lost a considerable amount of money. My experience with the company once I realised the misrepresentation only two hours after paying them, was hugely frustrating and upsetting. They said there was no cooling off period. My error was that I got swept away with their sales talk. I’ve learnt my lesson. I will be careful from now on. I urge you to do the same.

Date of experience : 13 April 2022

Sales Talk, No Leads, Just Access to Tenders...

Great Sales talk, but behind the mask is just a tender/registrations site. They operate on/with Tenders4u.co.uk. The sales pitch was "we've just had a company go under in your area, and we've selected you for the category "xxx". When we asked how many sales leads they generated for the company before in the last year, they said "46". This is just sales talk, as all the tenders you have to syphon through and then apply for yourselves. Although listed on the database, no matter what products or services we searched for, we could not find our business either. Poor - would not recommend to anyone as there are other B2B/Tender sites you can register for, for FREE! This company charged £500+VAT for the service of doing nothing.

so far so good

so far so good, not produce any work as of yet but I have had schools contact me for work which I have quoted for which will hopefully turn into sales

The education hub fraudsters

Was cold called by Jack Nicholas claiming he works with 127 schools. He said they need a drainage company to provide drainage engineers for the schools and said we would be the soul provider for the schools. He showed us how many unblocks we could expect from last years numbers. And we could have all this for an admin fee of around £1400 But once we paid and tried to cancel they refused even though we tried to cancel a few hours after. Now He has the money he doesn’t even respond to our emails. Needless to say like everyone on here says don’t go near them they are just fraudsters all they are going to do is add you to a directory that you could do for free your self. They don’t have any contacts in schools it’s just crap.

"I'm disappointed to admit that I fell victim to the deceptive promises made by this company regarding the exclusivity of work in my area. Despite being assured of a guaranteed refund, my experience with their services was far from satisfactory. Throughout my 12-month subscription, I struggled with a lack of leads and attempted to address the issue both mid-way and towards the end of the subscription. To my dismay, the company's response was disheartening—they simply brushed aside my concerns, refusing to acknowledge my legitimate claim. Instead, they pointed to leads generated by their online partner, tenders4u, which were completely irrelevant to my business and the services we provide. These leads had little connection to our industry, let alone being within the specific postcode we operate in. I strongly caution anyone considering their services to exercise extreme caution. My experience serves as a clear warning against signing up with this company, as they seem more interested in misleading promises than delivering on their commitments."

Do NOT Hand Your Money To The Educational Hub!

If there were zero stars, it would be more fitting. Let me just say that the sales pitch is very appealing. They make out like there is a treasure trove of business waiting for you on the other side of their membership fee. There was mention of projects of up to 50,000 pounds. Just a casual number drop to reel you in. Oh, how silly I was. I was told that they were in desperate need of a reliable and trustworthy copywriting and PR business to help over 1000 UK schools with their content writing needs. They paint the picture that all of these schools are relying on The Educational Hub to send them the service providers and resources they need. I don't know how I believed them, I mean, don't these schools have Google? Of course they do! What I found out after paying the 900 pounds was that The Educational Hub is a glorified business directory. The schools already have their own providers, and for that ridiculous amount, I could list my business on their directory in the HOPES that one of the schools noticed me. There was never any guarantee of me getting any business through them. But I was assured with great excitement that there would be. Once I realised this, I didn't sign the agreement, I didn't want to be a part of it, and only hours after I'd paid the fee, I politely asked for a refund and said that it's not for me. I'd had second thoughts. You would think that when there has been no exchange of services, and that no agreements were signed that it would be a simple case of getting a refund. Not so. It took almost 2 weeks to be sent the formal refund documentation (which was basically just an email address to contact). I filed my request almost immediately. I was then told it would take ten days for my request to be reviewed. This was getting a bit ridiculous now. It was my money. I had received nothing for it. I wanted it back. But still, I waited. I then got an email saying that out of a gesture of goodwill, they would refund 50% of my money. That was when I hit the roof. Goodwill? Are they crazy? They took my money so quickly. I didn't sign any agreements, I requested politely that my money be refunded, and I got sent from pillar to post to find out how to do that, only to be told I would get 50% back "as a gesture of goodwill"? I told them I would report them to which they responded by sending me their legal team's email address. That's when I stopped all communication, I reported them, and I have now started to spread the world about this manipulative business so as to prevent any other small business falling prey to their clutches. Please DO NOT Hand over the money. Read the reviews. They will tell you the reviews are all written by a disgruntled ex-employee. They have a story for everything. You have been warned.

A dependable and reliable organization given it's core business and objective for which it's registered. I was referred to this company by a close friend. My experience with IE-HUB Ltd is worth sharing and recommending, they are always ready to listen to you, just give them your budget and they will work towards that in securing you a good and affordable institution. They are always ready to guide you from the school search time to visa application time. Very genuine with good listening staff, I'm recommending them to anyone who wants a smooth school abroad journey, they still check up on me till date and that shows how exceptional they are.

Experience with IE-Hub Ltd.

I had the plans to one day further my education and study abroad, but I didn’t know how to go about it. I had the least information on what to do as well. My uncle suggested them and shared their number to my aunt, and that was how my journey began, lol The first day I spoke with one of the staff, I was astonished. It was surprising because the way they gave me the information, relevant tips to guide me was out of this world. They would always send me an email just to check up on me and to remind me on dates I have to attend required meetings and all. They also call to confirm if I arrived safely and on time for my appointments. Indeed it was a memorable experience with them and they made it smooth throughout. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone. I hadn’t even met them before and the trust I had in them was profound. My travel wouldn’t have been with so much ease if it didn’t involve them. Till today, I’m forever grateful. Thank you so much to the amazing team/staff and to the wonderful Brain and Strength behind this incredible team!
