Indira Gandhi National Open University December Term End Examination or IGNOU December TEE 2021 application process would start soon on December 16, 2021. According to the official notification released by IGNOU, the last date to submit projects by candidates for the December TEE has been extended till December 31, 2021. As per the official notice released by IGNOU, the last date to submit assignments, projects, reports, dissertations, internships, fieldwork practicum, and others has been extended. The last date for online as well as offline submission of soft copies through the mail has been extended. Further, the last date to submit the physical copies has also been extended by IGNOU.

The largest distance educational institution in the country “IGNOU” has extended the dates of submission of TEE assignments for June 2022. Now, students can submit their projects and assignment before the 30th of June, 2022.

The Indira Gandhi National Open University has again extended the dates of assignment submission as per the latest announcement by the university administration. The new dates for the submission of assignments are the 30th of June, 2022. Earlier, the date was extended to June 15th, 2022. This extension is for both online and offline submission to various programs.

The Term End Examination for June 2022 session is about to commence in IGNOU. So, many students who haven’t prepared their projects and assignments were looking for hope from IGNOU in the form of an extension of assignment dates. Now, IGNOU comes up with this huge relaxation for the students who want to take part in the assignment or project submission activities. The assignments and projects are a very necessary part to appear for the examination be it semester-wise or annually. Candidates can easily get more information regarding the submission of these assignments, dissertations and projects using the official website of IGNOU are ignou.ac.in.

Candidates can submit their projects, fieldworks, dissertations, journals, files, thesis, reports etc. The earlier notice of IGNOU said that the last date of IGNOU assignment submission is June 15th, 2022. Now, Students can easily submit their assignments before the new last date announced by the university which is June 30th, 2022.

According to the official notice of the Indira Gandhi National Open University said that the concerned department and authorities have agreed to extend the assignment submission dates for the candidates so that they can easily fill the form for the June 2022 session. The last date for the submission of the lab works, assignments, practicums, dissertations, records, internships, journals etc can be submitted either online or through physical mode by the candidates before the last of 30th of June, 2022.

When Does the Final June TEE Examination Will Start?

The tentative date for the start of the examinations of the June TEE 2022 session is September 5th, 2022. Students are required to fill out the examination forms without a late fee till June 25th this year. From the 26th of June to the 30th, the late fee will be charged which is 1000 rupees INR.

Candidates of IGNOU need to pay a rupee of 200 per course for both theory and practical examinations. This fee can be easily paid online mode i.e net banking, credit or debit card etc.

How to Apply for June 2022 Session?

Students need to visit the web portal of IGNOU that is ignou.ac.in.
Then, they have to hit the New Registration link and then provide all the details there in the form with accurate information.
After that, they need to hit the Register Now button and press the Submit tab.
A unique enrollment ID and password will be sent to their personal email address.
They should pay the registration fee that is mandatory to register for the new course they want to study.
Save the registration and application form for future references.

IGNOU Assignment Status 2024 : Indira Gandhi National Open University has released the IGNOU assignment last date for the students enrolled in both January 2024 as well as July session. Students who have enrolled in January session are requested to submit the IGNOU assigment 2024 by October 31. IGNOU assignment last date for the students enrolled in July session will be March 31, 2025. They must submit their IGNOU 2024 assigments by the deadline. The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

If you’re submitting a project for your IGNOU course, you’ll need to pay a fee. If your project is 4 credits or fewer , the fee is Rs.300 . If it’s more than 4 credits , it’s Rs.500 . You need to pay this fee when you submit your Term End Examination form.

When you submit your project report, you must include a copy of the receipt showing you paid the fee. If you don’t pay the fee when you submit your Term End Examination form, your project won’t be evaluated.

Extension of Submission Date of the Dissertation Report (BPCE144) of the BAPCH Course till 15th July, 2023

Due to delay in the mandatory counseling sessions of the Course on Dissertation BPCE 144 of the B A Honours in Psychology Program at various Study Centers, for the admission batches of January 2020 and July 2020, the Faculty Members of the Discipline of Psychology, deliberated and decided that the last date of submission of the Dissertation Report by the learners be extended till 15 th July 2023 and the TEE of the same be conducted by 14 th August 2023 at their Regional Centers.

What is Assignment Submission Deadline in IGNOU ?

IGNOU assignment last date is also called the deadline to submit assignment at Study center. Online mode (OL) learner need to submit assignment at LMS (Learning Management System). As per University Calendar Assignment submission is done twice every year for June and December session .

As per instruction, IGNOU assignment submission last date varies from programme to programme. The due date is mentioned in the instruction page of assignment question paper.

For TEE June Cycle / Session : In this cycle Assignment submission starts from 1st March and ends on 31 March but in some case (like when admission for January Cycle is delayed ) the University extends the last date for assignment submission like for TEE June 2022 session it was extended upto 20th July 2022 and
For TEE Dec Cycle/ Session : In this cycle Assignment submission start from 1st September and ends on 30th September but in some case (like when admission for July Cycle is delayed) the University extends the last date for assignment submission.

1. For Student of Year based UG, PG, PG Diploma or Diploma programme

Any student who got admitted in Jan 2022 Admission Cycle and his/her programme is Year based (Eg : MEG, MPS, MCOM, MPA etc) such learner is supposed to submit 1st Year assignment between 1 - 30th Sep 2021 and this session is considered as TEE DEC 2022 SESSION . For any extension in submission date for that session may be checked on the website. Failing in assignment submission for TEE DEC 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

2. For Student of Semester based UG, PG, Diploma, PG Diploma and Certificate programme

Failing in assignment submission for TEE JUNE 2022 SESSION, then leaner can submit the assignment in the next coming cycle.

How can I Check my IGNOU assignment submission status ?

The status of assignment submitted for TEE June Cycle/Session starts reflecting on the website from June/July month. Similarly the status of assignment submitted for TEE December Cycle/Session starts reflecting on the website from December/January month. After the transmission of assignment data from study center or regioanl center finally after few days/weeks assignment marks is updated in the Grade Card.

How to resolve Discrepancy in IGNOU assignment submission status ?

How To Submit IGNOU Assignment?

Students have started enrolling for the July 2024 session. So, IGNOU has announced the last dates for registration and assignment submission. The last date for assignment submission is 30th September 2024 .

For Semester Programs

Students who got registered in the July 2024 cycle will appear in the TEE December 2024. These students should complete and submit their assignments by 30th September 2024. Similarly, students who will be enrolled in the January 2025 session will appear in TEE June 2025 for which they will have to submit their assignments by 31st March 2025 .

For Annual Programs

Also, IGNOU offers several annual courses in diverse programs. So, if a candidate has enrolled in an annual program in January 2024 then they have to appear in the annual exam in December 2024 , and they also need to submit the assignments by 30th September 2024 .

You must adhere to the last date for assignments to complete one milestone. If you miss the deadline, you will have to rewrite the assignment again in the next cycle, which will be again after 6 months. Also, assignments are a summary of the whole book. So, completing the assignment dedicatedly will also help in exam preparation too.

IGNOU Assignment Questions 2024

Students need to download the assignment question papers online from the IGNOU official portal.

Step – 1 – Visit the assignment link at the IGNOU portal at https://webservices.ignou.ac.in/assignments/ .

Step – 2 – Select your level and click.

Step – 3 – Select your program and then your course.

Step – 4 – Next, select your session and then select your year.

Step – 5 – Soon, the assignments will appear on the screen.

Step – 6 – Download the assignments and take a print.

The assignments should be written using a blue or black pen only. There should be a cover page for each assignment stating the program, course, subject, candidate name, and enrolment number.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Methods in 2024

There are two ways to submit the IGNOU assignments.

Offline Assignment Submission

Students who wish to submit assignments offline can visit their respective study centers and submit the assignments. The assignments should be written on A4 size papers and bound together. The assignment should have a cover page that should have the student name, enrollment number, regional center code, subject code, and name, program, course, and session.

Online Assignment Submission

For online submission, there are two ways of assignment submission.

Online Submission on Portal: Students who wish to submit assignments online through the portal should follow this procedure:

Step – 1 – Visit the official IGNOU portal at http://ignou.ac.in and go to your Regional center.

Step – 2 – IGNOU will display the Google Form link for assignment submission at the appropriate time in the News and Events section.

Step – 3 – Click the link to open and register yourself with your name, enrolment number, and other necessary details

Step – 4 – Upload the documents one by one carefully matching the subject code

Step – 5 – When all the uploads are done, submit the assignments.

Online Submission through Email: Sometimes the university may ask the students to send the assignments through email to avoid litigation and other issues. In this case, the students will have to carefully arrange the assignment with the cover page and email it to the respective regional email addresses. Students can get regional email addresses from the respective Regional IGNOU Portal.

Tip to Prepare IGNOU Assignments 2024

It is crucial to prepare the IGNOU assignment properly because that will help in exam preparations too. Here are some important tips that can help in preparing IGNOU assignments better.

Go through the assignment questions carefully first to understand them properly.
